Patients Sample Programme

This programme is designed to enhance the contributions, confidence and communication skills service representatives involved in local or national service improvement. Maximum number of delegates is 20, and the course can be run on Saturdays.

Learning outcome: At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify and stratify collaborative and interested parties in service developments.

Learning outcome: At the end of this session, participants will be able to consider, practise and analyse competing perspectives.

12.15 Making an impact (2)

Learning exercise: This session offers the opportunity for delegates to refine the skills learned in session one, including Pareto principles.

13.45 Accessing resources

Learning outcomes: At the end of this session, delegates will have reviewed the economic impact of service developments, and practised presentation, influencing and decision making skills.

14.30 Visualising the future

Learning exercise: Participants will use new techniques to express ambitions.
